Statement from Forest Laboratories, Inc. Regarding Aerobid^® (flunisolide) and
Aerobid^®-M Inhaler System

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has mandated that inhalers containing CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) may not be manufactured, sold, or dispensed after June 30, 2011.

Under the requirements of this mandate, Aerobid, NDC# 0456-0672-99, and Aerobid-M, NDC# 0456-0670-99, are no longer available.

Patients - If you are currently taking Aerobid or Aerobid-M, you now need to consider an alternate treatment. Please speak to your physician regarding appropriate alternate treatment for your condition.

Physicians – Please speak to your patients taking Aerobid and Aerobid-M about alternate treatment and transition them to another therapy.

Pharmacists – Please instruct patients to speak with their physician regarding appropriate alternate treatment for their condition.
