Global footprint

Forest’s successful in-licensing business model and current partnerships have given us a strong footing on which to build our global operations. We have key divisions and subsidiaries (starred sites in map below) across the United States and in Europe. While our commercial infrastructure is based primarily in the U.S. with a presence in the U.K. and Ireland, we can access worldwide markets through an extensive network of partners. Our ability to develop products on a worldwide scale is exemplified by our enrollment in 2009 of nearly 10,000 patients for clinical trials in 20 countries. We maintain manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Ireland, and the United Kingdom. We also have a business development office in Paris, France to facilitate access to European companies.
